Gurnick Academy of Medical Arts is a leading Bay Area private healthcare college offering an extensive variety of nursing and allied healthcare programs such as: Vocational Nurse, Psychiatric Technician and Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN to BSN pathway) as well as Dental Assistant and Phlebotomy Technician and healthcare programs: Associate of Science in Physical Therapist Assistant, Ultrasound Technology, MRI, Radiologic Technology, and Bachelor of Science in Diagnostic Medical Imaging.
We are currently seeking a Part-Time (PM, Evenings) Clinical Coordinator for the Associate of Science in Radiologic Technology Program at our Concord, CA Campus .
Core Responsibilities
The primary function of the Clinical Coordinator is to provide clinical administration support to ensure clinical compliance of student outcomes and performance levels in the clinical environment.

Collecting and maintaining student health requirements

Communicating with the approved clinical sites and ensure students are able to start their clinical rotations at the specified start dates.

Ensuring onboarding documents are compliant through each clinical site’s specified requirements and timeframes.

Oversee and manage the LMS clinical courses

Perform clinical site evaluations and clinical coordinator evaluations for student progress

Maintain clinical relationships and perform outreach to promote clinical site growth

Maintain all clinical folders per accreditation standards and collect clinical extern and employer evaluations

Analyze and Distribute clinical preceptor evaluations annually

Teach on campus procedures, Venipuncture, digital and radiation protections labs as necessary

Teach courses as needed and based on availability throughout the program

Collect clinical data for JRCERT assessment annually to promote consistent improvement of the program.
Requirements

Strong organizational skills and highly reliable to manage students clinical records

Proficiency in Google Suite, Ie. Google Docs, Sheet, etc.

Technology adept to learn multiple online compliance and LMS platforms

Possession of current Radiologic Technologist (RT) credential

Possesses current state CRT license

Expertise in interpersonal and oral presentation/written communication skills, as demonstrated by: data sheet, diplomas, degrees, transcripts, certifications, CVs/Resumes, and in personal interview

Must Possess a Bachelor’s Degree, Master Degree Preferred

Graduation from an accredited program or an otherwise recognized training entity (e.g., hospital-based program) in the specialty field or subject area. Additionally, the clinical coordinator possesses two (2) years of occupational (i.e., practical) experience in the subject field in which they teach

A minimum of one year experience teaching in a JRCERT-accredited program preferred
Hourly Range, Part-time: $45.00 – $60.00
