Gurnick Academy of Medical Arts is a leading Bay Area private healthcare college offering an extensive variety of nursing and allied healthcare programs such as: Vocational Nurse, Psychiatric Technician and Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN to BSN pathway) as well as Dental Assistant and Phlebotomy Technician and healthcare programs: Associate of Science in Physical Therapist Assistant, Ultrasound Technology, MRI, Radiologic Technology, and Bachelor of Science in Diagnostic Medical Imaging.
Gurnick Academy is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Administrative Support – MRI Program, Full-Time who are team players and available to work under the direction of the MRI Program Director. This is a salaried position working Remote and Online.
Basic Function
The Administrative Support position works under the supervision of the ASMRI Program Director providing administrative support for the essential duties of the ASMRI Program requirements and ARRT documentation. The Administrative Support role will require knowledge of the ASMRI program to best support the needs of the department.
Essential Job Duties
Department Related Functions:
- Assists the ASMRI Program Director in the general operation and maintenance of the ASMRI program
- Assists in the maintenance of systems and guidelines by analyzing the department’s operating practices, recordkeeping systems, and documents for the ASMRI program
- Audits attendance records, competency records, and other records on a weekly basis to ensure accuracy using a compliance lens for evaluation.
- Designs and maintains reporting procedures to include files and databases regarding the ASMRI Program statistics, confidential student information including GPA, course grades, exit exam and course specialty scores, attrition & retention reports, and statistical research. Prepares and generates related reports in a timely manner as required by the ASMRI Program Director.
- Assists with the monitoring, acquisition, and attrition of clinical facilities
- Coordinates and manages textbook verification for the ASMRI Program
- Creates and maintains annual academic calendars
- Creates reports and other materials for projects and promote the ASMRI Program
- Schedules and coordinates ASMRI Program meetings, conferences, and travel arrangements for the ASMRI Program Director and program leadership
- Performs additional duties as deemed necessary by the ASMRI Program Director to accomplish the goals and objectives of the ASMRI Program
Faculty and Student Related Functions:
- Collaborates with Student/Career Services and program leadership regarding student orientations, workshops, scrubs, ID’s and clinical onboarding.
- Assist with ARRT student application submissions
- Monitors records of faculty meeting minutes
- Collaborates with program leadership in new faculty/staff onboarding
Requirements
- Associates, Preferably Bachelor’s Degree
- MRI and/or Imaging Experience is Preferable
- 1-2 Years of Prior Working Experience in Post Secondary Education
- 1-2 Years of Prior Working Experience in Healthcare, Preferably in Radiology
- Working Knowledge of Google Suite, Google Docs, Sheets, Forms, Etc.
Salary Range, $67,000 – $75,000
